We have started to rehearse the English play called The Once and the Future King which is being directed by László Magács. The idea of the two-actor-drama was taken from the book by T.H. White. The play portrays nearly twenty characters who are brought to life on the stage by Matt Devere and Mike Kelly.
So far we have done the first reading at which the guys just tried to get acquainted with the text, occasionally getting mixed up in some spells written backwards or ancient English pronunciation occurring here and there.
Even though Mike and Matt have got enough experience in playing many different characters at a time, they should face quite a challenge during the next couple of weeks as in this case, they have to impersonate not only human beings, but occasionally change into animals too.
For this task, they have approximately two months since the opening night is on the 4th of May.
